Undergraduate Students receive University-wide Leadership Recognition
Three undergraduate sociology concentrators received University-wide recognition for their leadership work in sociology and around campus this year.
- Eman Abdelhadi won the Alumni Association's "Senior of the Year' award. Eman is the president of the Muslim Students Association.
- Carley Flanery won the "Most Impactful Performance on the Campus" for her work with SAPAC and First-Gens@Michigan.
- Laura Parkinson has been tapped as part of the 2013 class of the Order of Angell leadership honor society for her work at MESA/Trotter Affiliate Program, her work with First-Gens@Michigan, and as president of the Undergraduate Sociology Association.
