UM Graduate Student Geoffrey Wodtke has co-authored a paper with UM Professor David Harding and Wisconsin Professor Felix Elwert that has been published in the most recent edition of the American Sociological Review (ASR).  Their paper, Neighborhood Effects in Temporal Perspective: The Impact of Long-Term Exposure to Concentrated Disadvantage on High School Graduation, finds that growing up in the most disadvantaged neighborhoods significantly reduces the probability of high school graduation.
