The Physics Help Room will be offered in-person and online for Fall 2023! Please click the button below to view the new Help Room schedule. You will need to be signed in with your University of Michigan Google account to view the schedule. Additional information about instructor or Learning Assistant hours can be found on the Canvas pages of the course.
The Physics Department has the following resources available for students taking introductory physics courses:
- Physics Help Room (1416 Randall Lab)
- Graduate students, undergraduate students, and faculty are available to help students who are taking Introductory Physics classes (150/151; 250/251; 140/141; 240/241)
- The Help Room hours of operation vary by term and are subject to change. The hours for the Fall 2023 term are:
- Opens for the term on Tuesday, September 5 at 10:00 AM and closes on Friday, December 8 at 5:00 PM
- Closed for Fall Break (October 16 and 17) and Thanksgiving (November 21st at 5:00pm - Friday November 24)
- The Help Room is generally open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM and Friday from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

- Student run organization for anyone interested in physics
- Offers tutoring in the Physics Help Room during the fall and winter terms

In addition, there is also the Science Learning Center (1720 Chemistry) that provides study groups for intro physics courses.
