The Physics Help Room Schedule for Fall 2024 is linked below. You will need to be signed in with your University of Michigan Google account to view the schedule. Additional information about instructor or Learning Assistant hours can be found on the Canvas pages of each course.
The Physics Department encourages students taking introductory physics courses to utilize the following resources:
- Physics Help Room (1416 Randall Lab)
- Links to instructor Help Room hours can be accessed on the Canvas pages of their course. Learning Assistants generally help with only the courses they are assigned. Graduate students (GSIs and Grad) can help with any of the introductory courses. The hours for the Fall 2024 term will be listed at the link above.
- Opens for the term on Tuesday, September 3rd at 10:00 AM and closes on Wednesday, December 11th at 5:00 PM
- Closed for Fall Break (Oct. 14-15) and Thanksgiving Recess (Nov. 27-29)
- The Help Room is generally open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM and Friday from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

- Student run organization for anyone interested in physics
- Offers tutoring in the Physics Help Room during the fall and winter terms
- Find a list of private physics tutors on the SPS tutoring website
In addition, there is also the Science Learning Center (1720 Chemistry) that provides study groups for intro physics courses.
