Ievgen Lavrukhin

My education and research experience are closely related to experimental nuclear physics and particle physics. I am currently involved in several experiments: MUSE (PSI, Switzerland), SpinQuest/E1039 (Fermilab, USA), and TPEX proposal (DESY, Germany).  As a member of MUSE collaboration, I am mainly focusing on the development and support of the Data Acquisition System (DAQ) including both hardware integration and software development. As a liquid hydrogen target expert on MUSE, I am also working on the support and maintenance of the liquid hydrogen target system. In November 2020, I was elected as a co-spokesperson for the MUSE experiment.

As a part of the SpinQuest collaboration, I am working on developing the FPGA-based trigger system that allows the selection of the online Drell-Yan event, while strongly suppressing the background. As a part of the TPEX collaboration, I am working on the conceptual design of the liquid hydrogen target and vacuum chamber for it. Currently, the TPEX experiment is in the proposal stage.
