Gabriel Mendlow has accepted an Assistant Professorship at University of Michigan's Law School. During the 2012-13 academic year, he is serving as a federal prosecutor in Detroit. In September 2013, Gabe will join us as a dry Assistant Professor of Philosophy. He holds a JD from Yale Law School, a PhD in philosophy from Princeton University, and an AB in social studies from Harvard College.  His research encompasses moral, political, and legal philosophy and the theoretical foundations of criminal law, criminal procedure, and private law. He has interests in ethics, moral psychology, and the philosophy of action. Please join us in welcoming Gabe to Michigan.
