Graduation (the hard part)
Apply for graduation in Wolverine Access. This will start the process - and the slew of emails about your next steps.
Get a release for each of your majors and minors. An advisor in each department will verify that you have completed all of your degree requirements.
Then, LSA auditors will verify that you have completed all of your college requirements (QR, distribution, etc.). They will do this once your final grades have been posted. Please refer to Newnan's deadlines and timelines page for more information.
Make sure that your permanent mailing address is correct in MPathways. Your diploma will be mailed to you at that address over the summer.
Commencement (the fun part)
The Philosophy Department will host a commencement ceremony on May 2, 2026, from 1-3 PM at the VanGaurd Hotel.
There will be some formal remarks from our Director of Undergraduate Studies, Prof David Baker, and our speaker, with a reception to follow. You will be recognized and will walk. You will not receive your diploma at this event. That will come through the mail a few weeks after commencement.
