Kelsey Director Nicola Terrenato's 2019 book The Early Roman Expansion into Italy has been selected as the 2021 recipient of the Archaeological Institute of America’s James R. Wiseman Book Award, one of the most prestigious classical archaeology book awards in the US. Available through Cambridge University Press, this richly illustrated volume presents a radical new interpretation of Roman expansion in Italy during the fourth and third centuries BCE.
