New Mid-Day Tour Program at the Kelsey Museum
Looking for something to feed your brain on your lunch hour? Starting this fall, join us for Mid-Day Morsels at the Kelsey Museum. These 30-minute tours offer a taste of ancient Mediterranean history and artifact highlights in the Kelsey collection. Midday Morsel tours begin at 12:30 p.m. on the first Friday of every month beginning in September (see below for a list of tour dates). No registration is needed. Tour participants should gather at our Maynard Street entrance a few minutes before the tour is scheduled to start.
While we do not allow food at the Kelsey Museum, there are numerous lunch options near us on campus. Check out the UMMA Café at the Museum of Art and Darwin’s Café at the Museum of Natural History before or after your tour of the Kelsey.
Mid-Day Morsel tours are free and open to all visitors. If you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend this tour, please contact the education office (734-647-4167) at least two weeks in advance. We ask for advance notice as some accommodations may require more time for the University to arrange.
