The Kelsey Museum of Archaeology is looking for a qualified individual with museum management experience to serve as its associate director. Working under the leadership of the museum director, the associate director will coordinate the efforts of the Kelsey’s multidisciplinary staff by facilitating special exhibition programming, developing and implementing outreach endeavors, and overseeing museum operations. 

The associate director will also provide leadership on numerous budgetary and developmental matters. In addition to supervising the museum’s professional staff and working collaboratively with academic curators, the individual hired for this position will engage in major planning efforts—from writing proposals for external funding to creating and executing a strategic plan for outreach.
