The Kelsey Museum looks forward to hosting two programs as part of our Digging Deeper Lecture Series this April. These events are free and open to all!

On Thursday, April 10, at 6:00 PM, guest lecturer Margarita Gleba (University of Padua) will present “Unraveling the Fabric of the Past.” This talk, held at the Rackham Amphitheatre and supported by the Kozma Lecture Fund, will explore what recent research tells us about textile production and consumption in pre-Roman Italy and elsewhere across Europe. On Thursday, April 17, we are hosting a presentation and panel discussion with the LSA faculty who lead the Klinsky Expeditions—a series of five archaeological projects launched by a major donation from businessman and U-M alum Steve Klinsky.
