Do you have a passion for ancient history and an interest in leading educational experiences for people of all ages? The Kelsey’s Education Department is currently accepting applications for the museum’s community docent program. Volunteer docents are ambassadors in the community and an invaluable part of the Kelsey team. In addition to receiving extensive training in museum education techniques and subject-matter expertise, docents are welcome to audit University of Michigan courses and receive behind-the-scenes experiences through our monthly continuing education classes—read the full range of benefits here. Applications close on Friday, July 31; candidates can expect to attend trainings on Monday afternoons starting in the fall semester.
