This exhibition focused on the late Ice Age in Europe, one of the most extraordinary and innovative periods in prehistory. It featured more than 100 objects culled from collections at the University of Michigan and the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. Most of the pieces date to the Upper Palaeolithic era (ca. 35,000–11,000 years ago), a time of revolutionary human achievement.
