Kelsey Archaeological Forum

KAF members at a “Hercules” movie night event held in 2019.

Are you a U-M student interested in archaeology or ancient history? Or maybe you just love the Kelsey Museum?

Get involved with the Kelsey Archaeological Forum (KAF)!

Who are we?

The KAF is a group of U-M students who enjoy the Kelsey Museum and learning about the ancient Mediterranean. You don’t have to be a classics or ancient history major to join—anyone with an interest in the museum and its offerings is welcome.

What do we do?

We plan fun social events throughout the school year that connect with the ancient world—things like movie or trivia nights, crafting events (want to make your own cuneiform tablet?), object handling (yes, we get to hold the ancient artifacts), etc.

The KAF also helps promote the Kelsey Museum and its activities across the Ann Arbor campus.

How do you join?

Log in to the MCommunity directory and search for “Kelsey Archaeological Forum.” Click the “join” button to start receiving emails about upcoming events.
