Majors: German, Physics, and Math
Bio: Hi! My name is Haley, and I'm a senior studying German, physics, and mathematical physics. I grew up in Stockbridge, Michigan, and throughout high school, it was my dream to get into the University of Michigan. After I was accepted, I joined the Residential College (RC) and took German for the first time. I was interested in taking German because of my family heritage and love of classical music. After completing the RC intensive German program, I decided to pursue a German major because of the drastic improvement in my German. In the summer after my freshman year, I participated in the Deutsche Sommerschule through the University of New Mexico. This past year, I have also continued to improve my German while living in the Max Kade learning community. The German degree has paired nicely with my physics and math degrees because of its flexibility. I have also found it to be very relevant because of Germany's many contributions to these two fields. If you have any questions, please contact me to learn more about balancing multiple degrees and joining these programs.
