Typically Placement Exams are scheduled to coincide with University of Michigan orientation programs. If you wish to take a German placement test and are not affiliated with an orientation program, please send an email to germandept@umich.edu.
Outside of orientation programs, German, Dutch, and Swedish placement exams are scheduled on an ad-hoc basis. Please email germandept@umich.edu to schedule an exam.
Orientation Placement Exam Schedule
The following placement exams are scheduled to coincide with orientation programs for students starting in U-M's Winter 2020 Term:
- Thursday, December 12, 2019 (exam 9:30 - 10:55 am)
- Friday, December 13, 2019 (exam 9:30 - 10:55 am)
- Monday, January 6, 2020 (exam 2:15 - 3:40 pm), Language Resource Center's PC Lab
All placement exams take place in the Instructional Support Services (ISS) PC Lab on the 2nd Floor of the Modern Languages Building (MLB), unless noted otherwise.
