Professor and Chair Johannes von Moltke's recent book, The Curious Humanist: Siegfried Kracauer in America was named a 2017 Outstanding Academic Title by Choice. The honor is given to titles for "excellence in presentation and scholarship, the significance of their contribution to the field, their originality and value as an essential treatment of their subject, and significance in building undergraduate collections."
