The Modern Language Association of America announced it is awarding its twenty-third annual Aldo and Jeanne Scaglione Prize for Comparative Literary Studies to Silke-Maria Weineck, of the University of Michigan, for her book The Tragedy of Fatherhood: King Laius and the Politics of Paternity in the West, published by Bloomsbury.
