Theme: Jugend
The 2017 theme, Jugend, is a topic we are interpreting broadly. As you prepare for the competition, we encourage you to explore the importance of various Jugendbewegungen (Wandervögel, Weiße Rose, Studentenbewegungen) and Jugendkulturen (Halbstarke, Punker, Rapper). You may also find inspiration in Jugend als Motiv (in Literatur, Musik, Kunst). And surely there are additional dimensions that you and your students will come up with.
