23 June 2025: The University of Michigan hosted two Watch Parties open to the Public, one at the U-M Detroit Observatory and another at the U-M LSA Museum of Natural History. Attendees had an opportunity to participate in a worldwide event, featuring a live broadcast reveal of the Rubin Observatory’s First Look images, and a Q&A session with Michigan Astronomy professors.
