Connect with other students who share passion for Astronomy! The Student Astronomical Society is a student-run organization, that brings together students from across the University of Michigan with shared interests in star gazing, studying Astronomy, careers in Astronomy & Astrophysics, and educating the public through outreach.
SAS leads open houses at the Angell Hall Observatory, which include guided star gazing with and without telescopes, observatory tours, and planetarium shows.
Students from all majors and fields are invited to join the society and benefit from a wide array of rich activities, such as research seminars, career development workshops, advice panels, and dark sky trips!
For more information, schedule, and joining, see the Student Astronomical Society website.
