Students Services
The Astronomy Department Students' Services Office assists students with general information, course registration, enrollment, and other administrative issues. Majors, minors, and other interested students will occasionally receive communication from our program through our students’ services. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours at 323 WH, ask for the Undergraduate Program Coordinator, Brian Cox.

Academic Advising
The quality of mentoring and personalized advising is consistently cited by undergraduates as one of the most valuable resources in the department. The department’s relatively small size means that faculty are able to meet with students regularly, discuss their interests, and ensure that students are on track with the courses and research experiences that will help them meet their professional goals.
Majors and minors are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor at least once per year to ensure they’re getting the most from their education.
All students who are considering pursuing a major or minor are encouraged to meet with an advisor early on, to ensure that they are on the best path to meet their goals.
