Feige Wang

Feige Wang has been awarded one of the "Early Science with the LSST" projects as part of a Scilog program funded by the Research Corporation for Science Advancement, the Heising-Simons Foundation, and the Leinweber Foundation. This award supports the research of seven teams of scientists across the United States, Canada, and Chile. This award is a part of a three-year initiative to ignite discovery with the Vera C. Rubin Observatory’s upcoming Legacy Survey of Space and Time.

According to the Research Corporation for Science Advancement, this Scialog "will facilitate connections between early career observational astronomers, cosmologists, theoretical physicists and astrophysicists, computational modelers, data scientists, and software engineers, with the goal of catalyzing collaborative projects that will advance the early science needed to make the most of a dataset enabled by one of the most powerful observational machines ever built."

Congrats, Feige!
