Mary Anne Limbach has been selected as the winner of this year's Annie Jump Cannon Award in Astronomy by the American Astronomical Society (AAS). The award recognizes its winners for outstanding research and promise for future research by a postdoctoral woman researcher. According to AAS, Mary Anne is being honored for "pioneering the detection of white dwarf exoplanets and exomoons, and for developing innovative observing methods that open new windows into the diversity, evolution, and habitability of planetary systems."
