About
Talia Gordon, PhD, manages projects and activities in the Roberts Lab, coordinating interdisciplinary teams and cross-institutional partnerships, developing grant proposals, and designing and overseeing research, including study protocols, data collection, data management, and the analysis and dissemination of findings. Talia is trained as a sociocultural anthropologist with a background in medical anthropology and holds a doctorate in Comparative Human Development from the University of Chicago. Talia is part-time faculty in the Department of Anthropology at Wayne State University in Detroit and is the former Managing Editor of Somatosphere, an online journal of science, medicine, and health.
