Learning knows no season. That's why many LSA students choose to continue their studies over the spring and summer terms. If you're considering taking courses or enrolling in an off-campus program, our scholarships can help make your spring and summer into a life enriching experience!
What does the scholarship cover?
The Spring/Summer Scholarship helps to cover the cost of attendance for UM Ann Arbor on-campus or virtual courses. These scholarships can also be used toward select LSA off-campus, experiential programs including Semester in Detroit (SiD), New England Literature Program (NELP), Biological Station (BS), Camp Davis (CD), and Kitt Peak. It does not cover study abroad or internships, nor does it supplement scholarships for those experiences
If you’re participating in an LSA study abroad or internship, apply for their specific scholarships. If you plan to combine multiple Spring/Summer experiences (such as on-campus courses and study abroad), schedule an appointment with a scholarship advisor to find the best funding options.
Amounts and Duration
The Spring/Summer Scholarship award amounts vary and are determined by a student’s calculated Cost of Attendance and financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid. These awards are non-renewable, but you can reapply for them each year.
