If you're a prospective student interested in the U.P. Scholars Program, the most important item on your to-do list is to apply to the University of Michigan. Our team will begin identifying candidates from the Early Action pool of admitted students, so the sooner you apply, the better.
Read below to learn more about the admissions process as well as important deadlines you'll want to mark on your calendar.
University of Michigan Admissions Deadlines
Follow these simple admissions steps and, once admitted to the University of Michigan, you will automatically be considered for the U.P. Scholars Program.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, for the 2023-2024 academic year opens on October 1, 2022. U-M's federal code is 002325.
The CSS Profile for the 2022-2023 academic year opens on October 1, 2022. U-M's CSS Code is 1839.
We recommend completing the FAFSA and CSS Profile as soon as possible. They are both required to be considered for the U.P. Scholars Program.
You will also want to complete your application to the University of Michigan as soon as you know you are ready to Go Blue. We recommend all prospective students interested in the U.P. Scholars Program apply by the Freshmen Early Action Deadline: November 1, 2022.
If you have already applied Early Action, you are all set. Sit back, relax, and wait for your admissions decision.
If, for any reason, you were not able to make the Early Action application deadline, be sure to complete your application to the University of Michigan by the final deadline for all students who wish to be admitted for the 2023-2024 academic year: February 1, 2023. Again, the earlier, the better.
