Looking for peer-to-peer mentoring experience? Honors hires rising juniors and seniors for the Fall academic term. Mentors gain experience in leadership, group-building, and cultural inclusivity. Honors 170 is a first-year seven-week seminar, with topics including time management, stress, self-care, motivation and more. We believe Honors Mentors will help us build a stronger community, and the Mentors themselves will gain an excellent professional development opportunity.
Applications are open early February through early March. Watch the "This Week in Honors" newsletter for details. This is a stipend position of $1100. Applicants with successful submissions will be invited for an in-person inteview during the late March and final decisions are made by early April. Questions? Email Denise Guillot (dguillot@umich.edu) or Jeri Preston (pjeri@umich.edu).
