TheĀ Junior Honors Award (JHA) invitesĀ students to intentionally design an individualized undergraduate experience at the University of Michigan. Comprised of three pillars: Academics, Advising, and Community, the JHA enables students to tell their own stories by selecting those opportunities which are most meaningful to them. Two of the pillars--Academics and Community--feature Breadth and Depth options, which call on students to think more broadly about and dive deeper into their academic and community engagement. The Advising pillar boasts 1-on-1 and Group advising opportunities to ensure students are frequently supported by Honors' robust core of advisors. Students who complete the JHA by the end of their Junior year participate in all Honors commencement ceremonies during their Senior year.
