Set in 1905, Holland’s politically and emotionally powerful film follows a group of anarchists as they plot to assassinate the Russian Tsar’s governor in Russian-partitioned Poland. The film was banned for years in Poland despite having won the Grand Prize at the Gdansk Film Festival.
