Julia Smoot

Julia Smoot is a second year PhD student in the joint program in Gender and Feminist  Psychology working with Dr. Sara McClelland in the Progress Lab. Her research interests include: Reproductive Justice, Sexuality, and Sexual Pleasure.

In 2022, Julia received a B.S. from the University of Michigan in Mathematical Sciences and Cognitive Science and in 2023, Julia graduated from the Accelerated Master's Degree Program with an M.S. in Personality and Social Contexts Psychology. Julia has written both a senior honors thesis and a master's thesis on the validity of the Revised Mosher Sex Guilt Inventory under the supervision of Dr. Terri Conley.
