Students come to Women's and Gender Studies' joint PhD programs from all over the world: South Africa, India, China, Nicaragua, Canada, the United States, and elsewhere; and upon completing their programs, students take positions everywhere from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa to Stanford University, and even at the University of Michigan.
