About
My name is Jessica Kiebler and I am in the joint Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies Program. Broadly, I am interested in how stereotypes and perceptions related to socioeconomic status shape differential treatment and experiences, specifically when accounting for other social identities. My current research is focused on participant victim blame attribution toward women who have experienced gender-based mistreatment and violence while specifically accounting for participant perceptions about social class and race. My research methods employ both qualitative and quantitative approaches in hopes of crafting a more holistic understanding of these lived experiences than any one method might provide alone.
