About
Cheyenne's research focuses on disease ecology and host-parasite interactions, with a special interest in helminths of wild mammals. Prior to starting her Ph.D., Cheyenne completed a Master’s in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Michigan where she studied the evolutionary relationship between Trypanoxyuris pinworms and their howler monkey (genus: Alouatta) hosts. She plans to extend her research by focusing on understudied endoparasites of bats and other small mammals.
