Support the Herpetology Division

The UMMZ Herpetology Division has two critical funds that fuel our fieldwork, collections-based research, and the development of the next generation of herpetologists.

Research Gift - Herpetology Division – 325601

This fund advances the work of the UMMZ Herpetology Division by supporting the curatorial team's pilot studies, student-led research, and critical research infrastructure. It also enables students and curators to share their findings at professional meetings, strengthening the Division’s research impact and its connections to the broader scientific community.

Herpetology Division - Charles F. Walker Fund – 366310

This fund provides essential support for graduate student fieldwork in herpetology, helping students gather the data and experience at the core of their research. Through this support, students build key skills in field methodology, natural history interpretation, and research design, while gaining the insight that only comes from studying ecological and evolutionary processes unfolding in nature.
