Defying the Odds: Writing Winning Research Proposals from the Reviewers' Perspectives

Christine Black will present an overview of developing research grant proposals that are responsive to reviewers’ expectations. Proposals to all sponsors will be covered, e.g., federal, foundations, public charities. Topics will include types of research grants, the review process, evaluation criteria, aims, elements of the research plan, and the re-submission process. Relevant resources at the University will be integrated. Christine Black is a research development specialist with 30 years of experience writing transdisciplinary grant proposals.
