The Sweetland Center for Writing is pleased to offer a workshop for instructors who want to learn more about responding to and grading the written work of multilingual students. In this interactive session structured around authentic samples of multilingual students’ written work, participants will learn how to recognize and respond effectively to common language-use errors and cultural misunderstandings. Additionally, we will discuss strategies for grading in effective and equitable ways. Light refreshments will be provided.
