Workshop for faculty and other instructors who want to learn more about responding to and grading the written work of multilingual students.
The Sweetland Center for Writing is pleased to offer a workshop for faculty and other instructors who want to learn more about responding to and grading the written work of multilingual students. In this interactive session structured around authentic samples of multilingual students’ written work, participants will learn how to recognize and respond effectively to common language-use errors and cultural misunderstandings. Additionally, we will discuss strategies for grading in appropriate and equitable ways.
This workshop will also be held on March 25th from 1-2pm in North Quad 1155.
