Prospective Student Visits

Welcome to Physics Campus Days! This opportunity is targeted towards high school juniors and seniors  and transfer students who are considering the University of Michigan Physics program. It offers a brief overview, lasting approximately 1.5 hours, of the program, facility, and resources available to you as a student.

You will have the opportunity to (virtually) tour the building, including our laboratories, and meet with staff, faculty, and current students. Additionally, we will have advisors from both LSA’s Newnan Advising Center and the Physics Department on hand to be able to answer questions.

The itinerary for each day is the same, but space is limited! If you are interested in attending, please fill out the Google Form. Spots will be given on a first come, first served basis.

While we prefer to be able to give an in-person tour, due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable to do so at this time. We encourage you to view our virtual tour of the department to see some of the highlights that you would normally see on a visit to the department.

If you would like to explore our major options or learn more about what your first year in Physics might look like, please use the provided links.

If the date that you would like to attend is full and you would like to be added to a wait list, or you have any questions, you can contact us at We look forward to seeing you!
