Malte holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Economics from Mannheim University and a M.A. in Philosophy from Tübingen University. His main interests are in Mind, Eth,ics and AI, especially Action, Control & Moral Psychology. He is particularly interested in the intersections of these topics with research in Cognitive Science and Economics. He has recently received the Cornwell Prize, the Outstanding GSI Award, the Faculty Teaching Prize, a Live Worth Living Pedagogy Fellowship, an IHS Junior Research Fellowship, the Adam Smith Fellowship, and a Rackham International Research Award. He has spent a semester in Neuchâtel as a visiting instructor and a semester at Peterhouse (Cambridge) as a visiting postgraduate student. You can find his website here and his research here.
