A warm welcome to our new Chief Administrator, Holly Ploch. Holly joins us from the Science Learning Center where she was a Program Manager. As the Philosophy Department Chief Administrator, Holly will be a collaborative partner to the Department Chair and faculty, dedicated to supporting the department’s academic mission. She oversees the department’s budget, finance, human resources, and facilities, ensuring that operations run smoothly and equitably.
With a focus on empowering her team, Holly fosters a supportive environment where staff feel valued and equipped to succeed. She serves as a liaison between the department and the College, helping to interpret University and College policies in ways that best serve the needs of faculty, staff, and students. Guided by a commitment to service and community, Holly works with the Chair and colleagues to develop strategic plans that strengthen the department’s future. We wish Holly great success.
