Parks Mason, a native of Frankfort, Kentucky, earned his B.A. in German Studies from the University of Kentucky before coming to Michigan in Fall 2023. He is a Ph.D. Student in the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures and Zvi Y. Gitelman fellow in the Frankel Center for Judaic Studies. Academically, he is interested in 19th-Century German religious culture, Hebrew Bible reception, and the history of cross-confessional German biblical scholarship.
