The Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures would like to congratulate  Biz Nijdam for submitting her successfully defended and revised dissertation, 'Drawing for Me Means Communication’: Anke Feuchtenberger and German Art Comics after 1989. Biz will soon be off to Berlin, where she will be joining the Program for Advanced German and European Studies as a post-doctoral fellow.
