Elizabeth McNeill was awarded the Max Kade Grant from the American Friends of Marbach to fund her archival work at the Deutsche Literaturarchiv Marbach for her dissertation, "Speaking (of) Animals in the Life Science and Literature of 20th-Century Germany."
