The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology is delighted to announce the following promotions effective September 1, 2020: Vincent Denef was promoted from assistant professor to associate professor. Timothy James was promoted from associate professor to professor and from associate curator of the University of Michigan Herbarium to curator.

The promotions are a result of their impressive accomplishments in scholarship, teaching and service and were approved by the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts’ Executive Committee.
