EEB website awarded University Standard of Excellence from Web Marketing Association
The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology’s website earned the University Standard of Excellence Award from the Web Marketing Association as part of their annual competition.
The competition includes 96 industry categories and each site competes with other sites in their categories. EEB scored above the industry average in the university category, thereby earning a Standard of Excellence Award. Each site is assigned three or more expert judges for evaluation. Assuming the role of a target user, judges visit the site and enter scores for seven different criteria including: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use. EEB’s website scored highest on content, copywriting, ease of use and design.
