Cardinale named AAAS Fellow
Professor Bradley Cardinale was among eight University of Michigan scientists and engineers elected 2013 fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. U-M researchers were among 388 new fellows announced Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 by AAAS.
Cardinale, associate professor of ecology and evolutionary biology and natural resources and environment, is honored for distinguished contributions to the understanding of how biodiversity influences the functioning of ecosystems and how extinction affects the goods and services ecosystems provide humanity.
In 2012, U-M led the nation with 19 scientists and engineers elected as AAAS fellows.
