Tyrell Collier, a DAAS Major, has been named a Student of the Year by the Michigan Daily.Of the 43,710 students on this campus, only twelve students were selected. From filmmakers to social movement leaders to entrepreneurs to arts visionaries, according to the Daily, these students cannot be reduced to a bullet pointed list of simple accomplishments.
