Martha Jones awarded two fellowships
Associate Professor Martha Jones has been award a fellowship from the American Council of Learned Societies and the National Humanities Center. She will be in residence at the National Humanities Center during the 2013/14 school year. Jones is an Arthur F. Thurnau Professor, the Associate Chair of the Department Afroamerican and African Studies, Associate Professor in the Department of History and Co-director of the Program in Race, Law & History at the U-M Law School.
