Zainab Hakim

Zainab comes to the II after graduating from U-M in May with a B.A. in history of art and women's and gender studies, with a minor in Islamic studies. She recently worked as a program assistant at the U-M Arts Initiative, and as a student was an assistant curator at the Hatcher Graduate Library, where she contributed to "Shadow and Light," which memorialized assassinated Iraqi academics through a physical exhibit as well as a community presentation. In her free time, Zainab loves visiting national parks, reading fiction, drawing, and watching Bollywood movies.
