Introductory Nahuatl Workshop

This workshop will bring together members of the university community interested in contemporary indigenous cultures in Latin America. The workshop will feature Eduardo de la Cruz Cruz, a native speaker of Nahuatl who teaches the language at the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas.

The language of the Mexica (Aztec) empire, Nahuatl is now the most commonly spoken indigenous language in Mexico. Eduardo de la Cruz Cruz, native Nahuatl speaker and instructor at the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas, will lead this fun, interactive workshop. The Tuesday workshop will be a repeat of the Monday workshop, to allow for more student participation. Snacks will be provided.
